1. Jobcentre Plus Travel Grant
If you’re required to attend interviews or training as part of your Jobcentre agreement, you may be entitled to a travel grant.
- Covers public transport fares to interviews or training
- Must be pre-approved by your Work Coach
- Keep receipts and claim after travel
Tip: Always ask your Work Coach before travelling—retrospective claims often get refused.
2. Flexible Support Fund (FSF)
The Flexible Support Fund is a pot of money Jobcentre Plus uses to help jobseekers with essential costs.
You could use it for:
- Interview clothes
- Work uniforms
- Childcare costs
- Training or short courses
- IT equipment (in some cases)
Note: You must speak to your Work Coach and explain your need—it's discretionary, not automatic.
