Jobcentre Plus Opening Hours
Most Jobcentre Plus offices across England, Scotland and Wales are open Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Wednesday opening is later at 10:00am. Jobs and Benefits offices in Northern Ireland have a later Thursday opening at 10:00am rather than Wednesday. All offices are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays. Booking an Appointment
Most Jobcentre Plus services now require a pre-booked appointment. You can book through your Universal Credit online journal at gov.uk/sign-in-universal-credit or by calling 0800 169 0190. Walk-in access is available at some offices for urgent queries but is increasingly limited — always call ahead before visiting without an appointment.
